In short
- Books you buy are yours to read for as long as Owiwi Reads exists – no subscriptions, no expiry.
- You keep the copyright in everything you write. You give us permission to show and sell it on Owiwi Reads.
- Be honest and respectful: no stolen work, fake reviews, spam or abuse.
- Credits, points and levels are rewards – they are not money and cannot be cashed out.
- Mistaken purchases can be refunded within 7 days (see the Refund Policy).
01Who we are and these terms
Owiwi Reads (“Owiwi Reads”, “we”, “us”) is a digital publishing and reading platform operated by DARK LTD, Nigeria. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply whenever you visit our website, use our mobile apps, buy or read books, publish work, or take part in our programmes (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Content Guidelines and our Refund Policy. If you publish on Owiwi Reads, the Author Agreement also applies. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
02Who can use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18 (or the age of adulthood where you live), you may only use the Service with the permission of a parent or guardian, and only with their consent to make purchases. Parents and guardians are responsible for the activity of minors in their care.
You may not use the Service if we have previously closed your account for breaking these Terms, or if the law where you live forbids it.
03Your account
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date. One person, one account.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account; tell us at once at if you think someone else has used it.
